The Dog Stroller

The Dog stroller, cat stroller and pet carriers have become one of our most popular items.  

The stroller you decide to buy for your puppy, small dog or cat will be around for many years to come so it is important to choose carefully.  You want one that will fit your life style as well as be comfortable for your pet.  

The benefits of a pet or dog stroller are many:           

• They provide safety from auto traffic, people and other animals.  

• They make it easier for smaller dogs to travel either to keep up to your faster stride or as a way to carry them in public place as the 2 In 1 stroller can accommodate. 

• In some cases the stroller will allow you bring your dog in to a retail establishment where they otherwise would not be allowed.  

• They allow for older dogs that may not be up to long walks still be able to get out with you.  

There are several types of dog strollers available to choose from:  

• Jogging strollers, allows you to take our best friend with you when you go out for a run, these types are also useful in rough terrain like you might find in a park setting. Pictured her is the seen here in red is the Pet zip Jeep Rubicon Jogging stroller 

• 2 and 1 (or 3 and 1) stroller. these are strollers that have a carrier that easily detaches from the wheels to allow for transport or traveling on planes, trains, buses or any other public venue. 

• Light weight stroller, as the name implies, these types of pet strollers are light, easily fold and make carrying them with you easy.  Unlike the two mentioned above these are not as versatile but can be just what is need for the everyday stroll.  Also, are less expensive the the other two types mentioned. 

• Another type of stroller that has been popular are the ones that look similar to a crate or bird cage.  Kittywalk makes several of this type, we have found that many of our clients have requested this type for use with birds, cats and they rambunctious pooch.  Kittywalk also makes a double level stroller that has been very useful when transporting multiple animals to a show. Many breeders have requested this type from us.
