The Petsafe patented Perfect Bark Technology simultaneously senses both sound and vibration, and only a combination of sound and vibration will trigger the electronic correction.
The Deluxe Bark Control Collar accurately detects a dog's bark every time. Some bark collars detect barking with a microphone and activate on sound, these can be set off by other noises or by another dog's bark. Some bark collars use only vibration, these can be set off by motion or jostling. Only Perfect Bark Technology ensures fool-proof bark detection.

General Information:

- Progressive correction feature increases correction to next strongest level (in current setting only) if dog continues to bark Safety time out will shut off the correction for 3 minutes if the dog barks more than 15 times in 50 seconds

Frequently Asked Questions - Bark CollarsWill my dog stop barking completely?
- The Bark Control Collar will effectively and humanely stops all barking when worn. You dog will still be able to bark some, but it will use the pattern of the barks to determine if it is nuisance barking or warranted. It should only be worn during periods of unwanted barking. My dog has a sensitive nature.
Can I lower the Static Correction level?
- Some models have an adjustable correction level or you can obtain a resistor to reduce the static correction level by contacting the PetSafe Customer Care Center.
Will another dog’s bark set off the Bark Control Collar?
- No.
Is the Bark Control Collar safe and humane?
- Yes. The Bark Control Collar is designed to get your dog’s attention, not to punish him. However, the initial Static Correction may startle your dog.
Will the Bark Control Collar work for my dog?
- The Bark Control Collar is safe and effective for all breeds and sizes of dogs. There are several models suited various size dogs, however in most cases we recommend these collars for medium to large dogs.
Can I attach a leash to the Bark Control Collar?
- No. This can result in pulling the contact points too tightly against your dog’s neck and also damage the collar. Attach a leash to a separate, non-metallic collar or a harness, making sure the extra collar does not put pressure on the contact points.
